The Administrator's Column
February 2008
Let's begin this column with a big "Thank-you" to Mary Damon for her years of editing this Newsletter. She has been a "faithful servant" and we are truly grateful. Then let's thank Peggy Jacobs for being willing to take on this job. All of us here are so pleased and grateful to those of you who have offered your time and energy to the Newsletter, and also to the many other volunteer jobs that help make The Willows the viable community that it is.
There are a number of Christian Science books in the old listening room behind the Boutique that you are welcome to take. Have a look there and see if there isn't something you can add to your own library.
A few reminders about the speed limit on the property. Please let your friends that visit or anyone else who might be driving here know that the speed limit is 10 m.p.h. (I, too, have to remind myself of this from time to time.)
Let's review the dining room for a few moments. Please remember to get your reservations in by 10 am for the weekday meals, and by the Thursday before, for the Sunday meal. When we have 10 to 15 extra people on those busy days, it is hard for the kitchen staff to know how to plan.
The Willows has a wonderful half-page ad in the Asilomar Bible Conference mailing. I hope you have seen it. It's in the center of the catalog, just below the last agenda.
Have a great February, enjoy the activities - and each other.
Lovingly,
Sandy Toner
