Invited to return on Board Day, Julio Rivas spoke about strong, vibrant Christian Science. As he said, he is no "namby-pamby" Christian Scientist.

September 22: Gabriel Kalomos presented his musical program in Hodges Hall following the monthly Board dinner.

July 28, 2005: 'A Summer Musicale'

Two outstanding professional musicians, Dawn Blasco (classical guitar) and Keith Felch (flute) presented a program including Histoire du Tango, by Astor Piazzolla (known as the "father of the tango"). The evening's program also included Grand Duo Concertante, Opus 85. Composed by Mauro Giuliani (1781 - 1829) it is considered the most virtuosic 19th century work for flute and guitar.

Immigrating from Austria in 1939, Lilia Skala worked her way to an Oscar nomination for her role in Lilies of the Field. April 28, 2005: "Select Sorority" - a re-enactment of the lives of the first four First Ladies.

April 22, 2005: "Youth & Spirituality" by Dick Davenport

Immediately following Dick's talk, there was a successful Dessert Auction that will help provide camperships for local teens attending any Christian Science summer camp.
