Recent Events at The Willows
The Willows conducts a wide variety of special events for, and by, our residents. We also host outside events that are of interest to our residents and local community.

This year honors the Diamond Jubilee 75th Anniversary of the Festival and Pageant.

August 24: Capistrano Valley Symphony
The Capistrano Valley Symphony and guest pianist Sandra Joy will perform musical selections from Prokofiev to Gershwin.

September 18: Las Concordias with Rourke Stacy
Ms. Rourke Stacy has been an attorney with the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office since 2001. She currently represents the office in juvenile delinquency matters.
September 21: Hymn Sing "Hymns of Peace"
September 25: Board Dinner featuring Craig Zobelein playing "Pop Goes the Organ"
For many years, Craig performed in community theater - dancing, singing and acting. He also spent 15 years as a design engineer in the aerospace industry and then 15 years teaching in Ventura County.
September 26: Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Choir
This group was founded to bring "western" music to Kiev, an area which had been behind the Iron Curtain. The musicians soon asked for Bibles, and later the founding minister started a church which has grown to over 500 members.

- Mark's view of Africa was the topic of his talk. He has been visiting Africa regularly for the past ten years as a practitioner, first in Zambia and then Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Forever Plaid is the funny and charming story of a classic 1950's all-male singing group who where waylaid while traveling to their first big gig.
